Tim Smit

Tim was born in Johannesburg and immigrating to Auslia at the age of 5, spent his formative years on the dynamic North Shore. Immersed in the coastal lifestyle, he found solace in the outdoors and developed a love for water-centric activities, particularly surfing. Weekends were often spent at the beach, while rugby became a cherished pastime.

While embracing his outdoor passions, Tim also delved into the world of carpentry and construction, mastering various aspects of the trades. This foundation laid the groundwork for his professional journey and ignited his enthusiasm for craftsmanship.

Tim’s love for the water went beyond the coastline. He took on many boat deliveries, sailing from his hometown to Queensland and Adelaide. These journeys improved his seamanship skills and strengthened his bond with maritime life.

Motivated by his love for both carpentry and the sea, Tim aspires to merge these passions in his career as a deckhand. Tim aims to combine his skills and enthusiasm as a deckhand, enhancing the experience for everyone on board.
